Brief Description

Mondelez International are recruiting 48 Food and Drink Advanced Operator apprentices to learn what it takes to work within the UK?s premium confectionery manufacturing business in the heart of Bournville, Birmingham.

Qualifications Required

? Minimum of 5 GCSE?s (or equivalent), including English & maths grade A*(9) - C (4)
? Mondel?z International have put a strong emphasis on effective problem solving as a required attribute

Manufacturing Cadbury?s one of the world?s leading brands of chocolate within an environment that adopts the most up to date processes and techniques.

Our investment in Bournville is not just into new machinery, it is also about investing in the people who work here. As a Food Operator Apprentice, you will join an established training programme where you will receive a combination of classroom and practical based training to allow you to learn the technical and functional skills required to start your career.

Our apprenticeships last for 3 years where you will study towards a Level 3 Food and Drink Advanced Operator Diploma qualification. Training will cover:
? Bench fitting
? Electrical Maintenance
? Mechanical Maintenance
? Continuous Improvement/Lean Techniques
? Food Manufacturing
? Food Hygiene

Our apprenticeships encompass the operation of a number of fully automated production processes, factory quality, and hygiene and safety requirements (including GMP). You will be continually problem solving in order to help with continuous improvement.

Other Information

On completion of your apprenticeship, for those who really shine during our 3 year programme, there will be a variety of opportunities available including technical food operative, technician and potentially even Engineering roles, plus options to continue into further education.
