Brief Description

To train within the sheet metal facility; develop skills in sheet metal adjustment and press shop work

Qualifications Required

3+ GCSEs Grade C / 4 or equivalent

Please note that this Intermediate (Level 2) Apprenticeship will last for 12-18 months. It will involve spending one day per week at MAKE UK's state-of-the-art Training Hub in Aston, and four days per week at the employer's site for the duration of the apprenticeship.

Training will be undertaken at both our Bolton and Cheltenham facilities; on completion of training, role will be on a permanent basis at our Cheltenham site.

Job duties will include:
? Hand adjustment of aerospace components using hand tools
? Press use and operation
? Manufacturing aerospace components
? Read and interpret technical data, including job packs and drawings
? Awareness and knowledge of quality requirements and need for traceability

Other Information

Training at our Bolton facility for 2/3 days per week (overnight stay)
Travel to and from other sites
