Brief Description

Machine shop apprentice to work with the team covering all aspects of machining throughout the site.

Qualifications Required

GCSE Grade 4/ C and above in English, Maths. Science (or equivalent)

Training to be Provided

This 4 year programme will include:
• Engineering Basic Skills training – off the job full time at Make UK in Aston, Birmingham
• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
• A Technical Certificate (BTEC Diploma Level 3 in Engineering)
• In house training in line with your requirements.

Arconic are recruiting for a machine shop apprentice to join their team.

Job will include:

• To work as part of a team of machinists to ensure the site has all the machine parts to ensure the smooth running of the site.
• To manufacture one of parts and reproduce parts from technical drawings.
• To machine mill rolls to a required standard (surface finish and diameter)
