Brief Description

We are looking to support and develop an energetic, dynamic individual through a Level 2 Engineering Operative within our Engineering Team. This is an office-based role with potential for travel to Europe.

Qualifications Required

5 x GCSE’s grade 4 or above. Must include Maths and English

Training to be Provided

This 4 year programme will include:
• Engineering Basic Skills training – off the job full time at Make UK in Aston, Birmingham
• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
• A Technical Certificate (BTEC Diploma Level 3 in Engineering)
• In house training in line with your requirements.

As Technical Support, you are vital in the delivery of a good customer experience. You show excellent customer service skills and behaviours. Once you have mastered our range of products, you will be providing ‘Level 1’ technical support to our customers.
As 20% of your role will be at college, the rest of your time will be spent learning and developing in your role within our Engineering Team. You will be supported by your ‘buddy’ who will be there to guide you every step of the way on your journey.
Communication is key. Be that via telephone or email to our customers, or face to face across our departments. Although you will be part of the Engineering Team, you will also learn how our other functions operate. This will enable strong team-work across the business and build on your successes. This is an office based role with potential for travel to Europe.
