Brief Description : To provide all Supply Chain & Purchasing aspects (Including Nuclear) to the Product Realisation process for Kuka UK Ltd.
Qualifications Required : Ideally you will have 5 GCSEs grades 4 (C) or above, or equivalent, that includes maths, English and Science or Technology
Holding A Level / BTEC level 3 in science, maths or an engineering subject will be looked upon favourably.

During this apprenticeship you will work in the supply chain department, completing Engineering Support and Operations qualifications to enable you to become a supply chain Engineer.
This role's duties will involve:
Producing Requests For Quotation followed by Quote Analysis, Conduct negotiations with Supply Chain to optimise costs and timing
Processing Project & Non Project Materiel Orders as required & Expedite Materiel from Supply Chain to meet Project timing and delivery requirements
Generating and maintaining Supply Chain status reports and KPIs
Generating Import and Export Documentation and maintain compliance
Work Order & Production Planning including Routings and Bookings
Having good General Engineering workshop equipment skills Turning, Milling, Grinding, Drilling to enable processing, fitting or assembling electrical / electronic features of new products as required
Working to KUKA Corporate Compliance requirements

Working Week : Year 1 - Mon - Thur 8am - 4.30pm, Fri 8am - 12.30pm.
Salary : £ 263.67 (Weekly)

Training to be Provided : This 4 year programme will include:
• Engineering Basic Skills training – off the job full time at Make UK in Aston, Birmingham
• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
• A Technical Certificate (BTEC Diploma Level 3 in Engineering)
• In house training in line with your requirements.
Other Information : Must be UK National because of Government Security Classification (GSC) requirements of the role (No duel nationals).
