Please note that this Intermediate (Level 2) Apprenticeship will last for 12-18 months. It will involve spending one day per week at MAKE UK's state-of-the-art Training Hub in Aston, and four days per week at the employer's site for the duration of the apprenticeship.

Mostly in the UK We manufacture high quality springs using only the best quality materials. Everything we do is designed and made to order. We recognise the importance of delivery performance to our customers for our products and maintain an excellent record with them, Although we specialise in small quantities and one-offs, we are just as competitive when quoting for larger quantities.

You will produce designed and made to order. We recognise the importance of delivery performance to our customers for our products and maintain an excellent record with them, Although we specialise in small quantities and one-offs, we are just as competitive when quoting for larger quantities.
As an engineering apprentice, you will be trained to produce the following products using a variety of machines, including Mills, Lathes, CNC machines.
? Compression Springs - Springs can be produced in wire diameters from 0.25mm up to 6.0mm
? Torsion Springs - Single and double torsion springs can be produced with straight or bent leg forms, in wire diameter up to 4.0mm
? Produce straight leg springs up to 8.0mm
? Extension Springs - Springs with no loops - Wire diameter up to 4.0mm for springs with loops and 8.0mm for non looped springs.
? Wireforms - Produce a wide variety of intricate wire forms, retaining clips, R pins and wire links
? Light strip Pressings manufactured in various materials and forms to customer requirements
You will be working with several sectors including Marine, Lighting, Automotive sectors, electronics and general engineering.
All products are bespoke, made to order, and you will be part of the team who produces each of the product line.
