Brief Description

Mettler Toledo offer precision solutions in the life science and food industries. They are searching for a Field Service Engineer to join their team in the Sheffield Area to travel onto customer sites to install, calibrate, and repair their high precision equipment.

Training to be Provided

This 4 year programme will include:
? Engineering Basic Skills training ? off the job full time at Make UK in Aston, Birmingham
? NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
? A Technical Certificate (BTEC Diploma Level 3 in Engineering)
? In house training in line with your requirements.

As part of your training programme you will take part in on the job training in all areas of MT, with a focus in Field Service, Mass Lab and Production.
Working alongside the Field Service Engineer, undertake routine service/ calibration in line with the customer requirements covering the Sheffield and Midlands areas
Commission and installation of new equipment in line with customer requirements and under the supervision of the Field Service Engineer
Provide first class preventative maintenance on site
Respond promptly to all customer breakdowns and perform first time fix.
Complete all documentation for each customer visit, including risk assessment and method statement.
Work to ISO9001-2000, GWP and GxP procedures etc.
Attend any and all training provided by MT-UK, either classroom or eLearning.
Responsible for highlighting any additional training or tools needed in order to carry out the work to the best of your ability

This role will also involve:
Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements of MT-UK and on customer sites at all time.
Perform calibrations and documented procedures in line with customer expectations
Actively demonstrate to support of other areas/departments within the company to ensure team spirit is observed
Successful completion of your training programme within MT, providing a first class service for each task you are asked to complete.
Improved accuracy in physical evidence, ideally less than 1% error rate
Improved first time fix rate
Have at all times the required tools and knowledge needed
Take ownership of customer satisfaction scoring
Identify leads and revenue opportunities
