Brief Description

We are offering specialist training on all specialised equipment within the gaming industry, plus full extensive training on our inhouse data retrieval system and bespoke Meraki gaming network.
Fully trained the candidate will have various career pathways available within the largest product team in the UK.

Qualifications Required

Full training for the role will be given.
We would expect the successful candidate to have passed 3 GCSEs (4/ C) including Maths and English Language
and ideally they will have skills/ qualifications in Engineering/ Electronics / IT although this is not essential.

Good communication skills

The successful candidate must be over 18 due to the nature of our business.

Skills Required

General background in basic Electronics/network/IT/Engineering all favorable not essential

It is an exciting time to join the MERKUR Casino UK team as the business plans a rapid expansion programme. MERKUR Casino UK currently operates over 180 MERKUR Slots Adult Gaming Centres, 3 Family Entertainment Centres, 3 MERKUR Bingo clubs

The title for the role is Merkur Technical support Apprentice.

Main Responsibilities and key tasks
• Preparation of Gaming machine and ancillary equipment to specified standard.
• Full understanding of all MARS Server and networks within the Merkur Estate.
• Full understanding on the Service Technician role within the group
• To attend venue with the Service Technician with all day to day issues
• Assist Technical department in Depot with all GEWETE preparation and updates
• Assist Technical department with all relevant technical manufacturer’s updates for all gaming equipment
• To Attend a new venue install with Gaming Support team
• Understanding of the MARS support Group including technical training relating to MARS servers and Depot network
• Full understanding of all compliance issues
• To assist with the stock control and machine planning with the Technical Support Administration.
• To Maintain high level on communication with all senior managers within the group

Other Information

within MTS we have several pathways to career succession, Service Technician, Gaming Support, MARS Support (IT focus) Technician depot. The pathway will be determined as the apprentice displays a flare for one of the above.
