Brief Description
Looking to build a career in Maintenance?
Join us a Truflo to get hands on experience in various tasks to develop your career to become a fully qualified Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.
Qualifications Required
5 GCSEs at 9 – 4 / A* - C (5 or above preferred), must include maths, English language, and ideally Science, or equivalent related qualification.
Personal Qualities
● Good analytical and problem-solving skills
● Excellent hands-on skills with a mathematical mind-set.
● Enthusiastic and desire to succeed
● Good clear communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal.
● Able to work well as part of a team.
● Good timekeeping coupled with working flexibility.
● Willing to learn and undertake any training required for the role, both internal & external

Computer literate – MS word/Excel/Outlook
Training to be Provided
Together with invaluable commercial and practical experience, you’ll work towards several academic and vocational qualification levels throughout your time with us, which are fully paid for, including:
● Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Foundation Competence – in year 1, in 6 week blocks to include 4 weeks at Make UK and 2 weeks in company
● Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Development Competence - in years 2 to 4 in company
● Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Development Knowledge - in Years 2 & 3 on block release to Make UK
● In house training in line with your requirements.
● Further qualifications deemed necessary by your employer
On completion of your studies, you will achieve your full apprenticeship certification that will prove competence as a Level 3 Engineering Technician.

Truflo Air Movement Ltd is a world leader in the design and manufacturer of customed engineered axial fans. We design and manufacture specialist cooling solutions for radiator and engine cooling, power generation and ventilation customers worldwide.
Working under the supervision of a Maintenance Engineer to carry out various work at the site.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
• General Maintenance
• Learning to maintain equipment and support breakdowns
• Diagnosing faults
• Reactive maintenance work
• Support Planned Maintenance programmes
In exchange for your hard work we offer:
- A salary starting at £8 per hr and going up to £8.50 per hour, based on performance, after 6 months in the job
- 5% contributory pension scheme
- 25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays
- Support with college travel expenses
- Eligible for annual bonus
