Brief Description
An exciting opportunity to gain an Apprenticeship with TNA UK Manufacturing, we offer hands on experience and opportunities to learn our full manufacturing process. The role is responsible for the assembly of electrical components and wiring of electrical control panels for tna products in accordance with electrical drawings.
Qualifications Required
GCSE Grade 4 or above in Maths
GCSE Grade 4 or above in English
Personal Qualities
Excellent time keeping and attendance is essential
An interest in working in a Manufacturing environment
Able to work well as part of a team and take instruction well.

Together with invaluable commercial and practical experience, you’ll gain several academic and vocational qualifications throughout your time with us, which are fully paid for, including:
● Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence) – off the job full time at Make UK in Aston, Birmingham in year 1
● Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence)
● Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
● In house training in line with your requirements.
Future Prospects
Following successful completion of your Apprenticeship, you will progress to a full-time skilled position within the business as a Electrical Fitter. We are keen to develop individuals internally and many previous Apprentices have progressed into different roles within the company.

We’re seeking an Apprentice Electrical Fitter, the role is responsible for the assembly of electrical components and wiring of electrical control panels for tna products in accordance with electrical drawings and other written and verbal specifications to a high level of accuracy and with minimal errors according to drawings.
The role will expect you to learn to:
Carry out general fitting duties such as dismantling and re-assembly of a range of electrical equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and written/verbal instruction.
Carry out all testing and inspection of installations
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environment & quality polices, procedures and standards at all times, escalating and documenting specific site hazards/conditions, as required
Use of specialist tools
Assistance with other key tasks within the workshop
To continue to encourage participation, innovation & creativity to improve the working environment.
To contribute to unrivalled quality repairs and service across a wide range of repair and maintenance services.

Working hours from Year 2:
• Mon:7.00 – 3.30
• Tues: 7.00 – 3.30
• Wed: 7.00 – 3.30
• Thurs: 7.00 – 3.30
• Fri: 7.00 – 3.30 (30 minute unpaid lunch break per day)
